What to Expect

We aim to make your visit easy, comfortable, and informative for both you and your pet.
When you schedule an appointment with us, we take the time needed to complete everything at the appointment, so there’s no need to worry about paperwork in advance.

Before Your Visit

No need to arrive early—just come to your appointment as scheduled, and we’ll take care of everything! Prior to your visit, we’ll reach out to your regular veterinarian to gather any necessary records, including medication details and recent lab work. If you have any information to bring with you, feel free to do so, but rest assured, we’ll handle the rest.

During Your Visit

When you arrive, you’ll first meet with one of our compassionate and experienced team members, who will take the time to get to know your pet, gather their health history, and check their vitals. This allows us to provide a more personalized experience when Dr. Mayes meets with you and your pet. Once Dr. Mayes joins you, she’ll listen to your concerns, perform a thorough examination, and discuss any findings. She’ll explain the possible causes of any dental or health issues, go over treatment options, and share the benefits we expect to see after treatment. A detailed estimate will be provided, and we’ll make sure all your questions are answered before scheduling your pet’s next appointment.

Treatment & Next Steps

Once we’ve gone over the detailed estimate and you’ve decided to move forward with the recommended treatment, we’ll work with you to schedule the procedure at a time that fits your schedule. We’ll discuss the drop-off time and go over any preparation needed for your pet’s procedure, so you feel fully prepared and confident. We’re here to guide you through the entire process, ensuring everything goes smoothly for both you and your pet.
