Hello, my name is Dr. Madelynn Mayes and I have been a veterinarian for 13 years, having graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010.
I have been living in Spokane for the last 5 years with my wonderful family which includes my husband, and two sons. We also have an old man dog named Dante and two guinea pigs, Roger Dodger the Fast Runner and Zonic
I started my career as a rural mixed animal practitioner and then transitioned to small animal-only practice for the last 11 years. In school, I was one of the lucky 40 who were able to take an online dental course and wet lab which sparked my interest in dentistry.
After graduating I have been fortunate to work in clinics with a strong appreciation for dentistry which allowed me to further develop my passion for it. I have nurtured this passion by completing numerous advanced dental training courses with specialists across the country.
These training sessions have improved my technique and proficiency in all areas of general and some advanced dental care. I truly believe a healthy, pain-free mouth helps our pets live longer, healthier lives and promotes a stronger human-animal bond.
